A STAGING AREA WILL BE DETERMINED BY MUTUAL AGREEMENT AFTER CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT AWARD. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL MATERIALS, DEMOLITION, DISPOSAL, INSTALLATION AND SUPERVISION REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE CORRECT INSTALLATION OF ALL ITEMS LISTED OR IMPLIED BY THIS SPEC. THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS PROVIDED FOR BIDDING PURPOSES ONLY. THE CONTRACTOR IS ADVISED TO CONDUCT A SITE VISIT AND FIELD-VERIFY EXACT SITE INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR USE IN COMPLETING THE WORK AND SUBMITTING BID. NO ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIALS SHALL BE USED. THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS WORK SHALL BE COMPLETED AFTER THE NORMAL WORKING HOURS (7:00 TO 5:00). SCHEDULING ARRANGEMENTS AND COORDINATE ALL WORK MUST BE MADE WITH JAIME STEPHAN, ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER AT (415) 625-2754 OR (415) 652-9422. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROTECTION OF ALL EXISTING BUILDING PROPERTY SURFACES FROM DAMAGE DUE TO WORK PERFORMED UNDER THIS CONTRACT. DAMAGES TO EXISTING SURFACES CAUSED BY THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS CONTRACT SHALL BE REPAIRED AS TO MATCH THE EXISTING SURFACE FINISH. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL DEBRIS GENERATED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS CONTRACT ON A DAILY BASIS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT ANY DEBRIS FROM FILTERING INTO OTHER PARTS OF THE BUILDING INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MECHANICAL SYSTEMS. NO EQUIPMENT OR SUPPLIES WILL BE FURNISHED BY GSA. AT THE COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT, THE PROJECT AREA SHALL BE CLEANED TO BUILDING STANDARDS AS DETERMINED BY THE ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER. SHOULD THE CONTRACTOR FAIL TO CLEAN THE PROJECT LIMITS IN A TIMELY MANNER, GSA WILL CONTRACT FOR SAID CLEANING AND THE COST WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE CONTRACT. ALL APPLICABLE CODES SHALL BE ADHERED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT POSSIBLE. ALL WORK SHALL BE ACCOMPLISHED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPLICABLE STANDARDS, GUIDELINES, AND CODES REQUIRED BY THE LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL AUTHORITIES. 9. SPECIAL NOTES. THE CO HAS THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY UNSATISFACTORY OR UNSUITABLE MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP. ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE CONTRACTOR TO GOVERNMENT PROPERTY SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO CORRECT IN A TIMELY MANNER.
