TO DATE, THE TRAJECTORY ANALYSIS WORK HAS BEEN LIMITED TO PURELY BALLISTIC TRAJECTORIES; FOR EXAMPLE, THE SPACECRAFT DEPARTS FROM THE EARTH VIA A SINGLE EARTH DEPARTURE MANEUVER PROVIDED BY THE LAUNCH VEHICLE, AND THEN COASTS TO INTERCEPT WITH THE TARGET. THIS WORK WILL BE AN EXTENSION OF WORK PREVIOUSLY PERFORMED UNDER A STTR PHASE III (NNM09AA32C) AND A SBIR PHASE I (NNX11CH36P) ENTITLED FREE-SURFACE MODELING OF CRYOGENIC FLUIDS USING A HIGH-ORDER, UNSTRUCTURED GRID VOLUME-OF-FLUID (VOF) METHOD.
