TSA Gold+ is a voluntary, opt-in model where procurement costs must not exceed the government’s cost for staffing, while requiring the contractor to deliver the full scope of screening services, technology, and maintenance. Our goal is to foster true partnership with industry to deliver best-in-class security and efficiency for the traveling public.
To further engage with industry and stakeholders, TSA will host a TSA Gold+ Industry Day on May 21, 2026, starting at 1:00 p.m. (hybrid format: in-person at TSA HQ and virtual attendance available). Interested parties are required to register for Industry Day by COB May 18, 2026 and participate in this important dialogue. The Registration Form link can be found in the Links Section below.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is conducting market research for the TSA Gold+ program, a transformative initiative designed to modernize aviation security at select U.S. airports through public-private partnerships. This voluntary, opt-in model seeks to leverage industry expertise to deliver integrated, outcome-based solutions covering workforce, technology, and maintenance under TSA regulatory oversight. Building on the Screening Partnership Program (SPP), the initiative requires contractors to provide full screening services and technology maintenance while ensuring procurement costs do not exceed the government’s cost for staffing. Performance is localized to Springfield, Virginia, and classified under NAICS 488190, Other Support Activities for Air Transportation, and PSC S206, Housekeeping- Guard.
This special notice includes six attachments, including a draft Performance Work Statement (PWS), draft evaluation factors, an industry day slide deck, and an attendee list. There is no set-aside designated for this requirement. The agency held a hybrid industry day on May 21, 2026, to engage with interested vendors, airports, and stakeholders regarding the program’s scope and operational excellence goals.
The response deadline for submitting feedback, comments, and questions regarding the draft PWS and Evaluation Factors is May 27, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET.
