Due to technical difficulties, a solicitation was unable to be posted under solicitation number W911S213B8000 for Asphalt Requirements. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum, NY anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a Requirements contract for Asphalt located at Fort Drum, NY. The Government intends to award a single contract for Asphalt located at Fort Drum, NY. The contract type will be a Requirements Contract with Fixed Unit Prices (IAW FAR 16.503 Requirements Contracts) with Economic Price Adjustment (IAW FAR 16.203 Fixed Price Contracts with Economic Price Adjustment) and options (IAW FAR 17.2 Options.) This requirement is 100% set aside for Small Business Administration Certified 8A firms. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, plant, labor, material and equipment necessary to perform all work in connection with construction of new, and repair/replacement of existing, asphalt concrete pavement at Fort Drum, New York, in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications and drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The anticipated ordering period is April 2013 through March 2014 with Base plus two (2) one-year option periods. The Government anticipates the total estimated cost of this Requirements Contract between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 for the base ordering period and each exercised optional ordering period. The anticipated posting date of the IFB is no sooner than 15 days after the publication of this notice.
