CFM F108 Engine Performance Based Supply Chain Management Support Follow-On

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation is soliciting a sole source requirement from CFM International (CAGE 58828) for performance-based supply chain management support of the F108 engine and its associated Bill of Materials. This acquisition, identified under solicitation number SPE4AX23R0033, is a follow-on action for holistic support including supply support, demand and planning forecasting, material management, engineering and sustainment elements, packaging, storage, warehousing, and reliability improvements. Work will be performed at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, and is classified under NAICS 336412 for Aircraft Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing and PSC 2840 for Gas Turbines and Jet Engines, Aircraft, Prime Moving; and Components.

The agency intends to award a firm-fixed-price, requirements-type contract for commercial items under FAR Part 12 as a stand-alone contracting action. While previous notices referenced the General Electric Captains of Industry Supplier Capability Contract, Amendment 001 removed those terms to establish this as an independent effort. The contract structure includes one five-year base period and a single five-year option period, not to exceed a total performance duration of ten years.
