CFM F108 Engine Performance Based Supply Chain Management Support Follow-On

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation is soliciting a performance-based supply chain management support follow-on for the CFM F108 engine. Under solicitation number SPE4AX23R0033, the agency intends to issue a sole-source letter Request for Proposal (RFP) to CFM International, CAGE 58828, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. This commercial acquisition will result in a firm-fixed-price requirements-type contract with a five-year base period and one five-year option period, totaling a potential duration of ten years. Performance is centered at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

The scope of this requirement covers holistic support for the F108 engine and its associated bill of materials. Services include supply support, demand and planning forecasting, material management, engineering support, sustainment elements, packaging, storage and warehousing, and reliability improvements. While the solicitation was initially planned as a subsumable contract under the General Electric Captains of Industry Supplier Capability Contract, Amendment 001 establishes this as a stand-alone contracting action and removes those previous references.
