North Carolina Roads Maintenance/Construction MATOC

The United States Forest Service (USDA-FS), CSA East 12, has issued solicitation 12445224R0008 for a five-year Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) to provide road maintenance, road construction, and minor engineering services. This requirement supports National Forests across North Carolina as well as adjacent Ranger Districts in Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, and South Carolina. The procurement is classified under NAICS 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction and PSC Z1LB Maintenance of Highways/Roads/Streets/Bridges/Railways. This opportunity is designated as an SBA SBA set-aside.

The resulting indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contracts will be organized into four distinct Forest Zones, each assigned a separate group of multi-award contractors. Awardees will submit price proposals for individual task orders issued throughout the five-year performance period. Offerors are required to submit a separate quotation package for each seed project for the corresponding Forest Zone for which they seek award consideration.

The primary place of performance is New Bern, North Carolina, and responses are due by May 24, 2024. Recent amendments 0001 and 0002 provided responses to requests for information, extended the response deadline, and added the SF1442 and the Black Mountain cover sheet. The solicitation contains 45 attachments, including the primary RFP document, RFI answers, and various schedules for specific forest sites.
