Road Salt

The Department of the Army, MICC-Fort Drum, has issued solicitation W911S226QA004 for the procurement of road salt to be delivered to Fort Drum, New York. This requirement involves an estimated seasonal quantity of 14,000 net tons of white, irregular granules. The material must be delivered in bulk via self-unloading tractor-trailer (flow boy) style vehicles; dump trailers and bagged salt are not acceptable. All loads must be enclosed or tarped, and the salt must meet specific size specifications, as loads containing lumps or clumps will be rejected.
