The Department of the Army, through the USA Engineering Support Center Huntsville, is soliciting services for the removal, demolition, and deconstruction of small to very large facilities under solicitation number W912DY20R0034. The scope includes facility reduction, removal of vegetation, parking lots, sidewalks, and roadways, as well as utility and electrical disconnections or rerouting. Additional requirements involve site assessments, the removal of above or underground storage tanks, recycling of building materials, value engineering, site restoration, and data analysis and reporting.

This acquisition also covers the abatement of facility contaminants, including lead, asbestos, chemicals, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and petroleum byproducts. Contractors are responsible for environmental assessments, sampling, hazardous and non-hazardous debris transportation, and the proper disposal of regulated materials. These activities are classified under NAICS 238910 Site Preparation Contractors and PSC P500 SALVAGE- DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURES/FACILITIES (OTHER THAN BUILDINGS).
