RFLP Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Center Development at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Eielson Air Force Base, and Clear Space Force Station

The Department of the Air Force is issuing solicitation AFCEC-26-R-0006 to secure proposals for the development of commercial Artificial Intelligence (AI) data centers on military land in Alaska. Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. § 2667, the government intends to lease underutilized parcels at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Eielson Air Force Base, and Clear Space Force Station to private entities. The primary objective is to optimize the value of federal real property assets by obtaining monetary consideration for these leasehold interests at rates no less than fair market value.

Qualified offerors may propose projects for any or all of the three installations based on commercial viability. The scope of this Request for Lease Proposal is limited to the long-term ground lease of the properties for private commercial use; the government is under no obligation to purchase AI data center services or power as part of this agreement.
